HAZRATH HAMEED SHAH KHADRI (RA)
AND
HAZRATH MUHIB SHAH KHADRI (RA)

The two Sufi saints Hazrath Hameed Shah Khadri (RA) and HazrathMuhib Shah Khadri (RA) who attained martyrdom in the third Mysore war had during their lives worked for propagation of the Islamic values of justice, equality, honesty and universal brotherhood among the people and followers from different religions, Castes and creeds. It is recounted from reliable sources that when HazrathMuhib Shah Khadri (RA) attained martyrdom as result of getting beheaded in the war against the British, his head was not handed over to the family of the saint by the enemies and the body was laid to rest at the place where he breathed last.

Hence, no roof has been constructed on the shrine of HazrathMuhib Shah Khadri (RA) and efforts made in the past to put up cover on the Dargah have proved that roof will not withstand over the tomb. On account of this phenomenon, the saint is referred as “HazrathBesarValiAulia”.
